29Zoals het spreekwoord zegt "April doet wat hij wil", zo handel ik ook met mijn handwerkprojecten van deze maand.

En wat ik wil is:

* mijn Love-shawl proberen af te krijgen. Nog ca. 10 patroonwisselingen te gaan. Klaar op 6-4 !

* verder met de wanten met het Noorse motief erin.

* de eerste sok voor G. is bijna klaar, mijn streven is eind deze maand het paar klaar te hebben.

Morgen is Breituin, dus kan ik in iedergeval met de sokken en de shawl verder tijdens het bijkletsen met de andere aanwezigen!

° de sokken van G. waren af op 25 april

° ook heb ik een stel babysokjes gemaakt, maat 14-15. Donkerpaars sokkenwolletje met kleurschakeringen werd de kleurcombinatie. De nieuwe eigenaresse is bekend, mijn piepjonge buurmeisje Leah!

Op 16 april zette ik ze op, op 26 april rolden ze van de pennen!

° ik ben op 26-4 gestart met een stel kindersokken in maat 30-31, grijs gemeleerde wol, dit paar is op 30-4 voor 3/4 klaar

° ook ben ik op 27-4 gestart met een stel kindersokken in verschillende blauwtinten, maat 28-29, dit paar gaat met dezelfde groeispurt als de grijze kindersokken!

Beide paren kindersokken hoop ik begin mei af te hebben.

April's weather you have to wait and see. So do I with my handicrafts!

As we say in Holland "April doet wat hij wil" or You have to wait what April's weather brings, I will wait and see what I can reach this month according to my handicraft!

What I do want to reach this month:

* finish my Love-shawl. I still have to knit about 10 times the pattern needles (25 rows to go). Ready at April 6!

* going on with the mittens with Nordic Star pattern.

* knitting further with G. her socks. Almost one sock is ready. Do hope to finish the pair before or around the end of the month!

Tomorrow is Breituin (Knitting Garden) so during those 3 hours with the ladies I am able to knit socks or my Love-shawl!

°G. her socks were ready April 25!

° I knitted a pair of purple babysocks size 14/15 with some colourfull effects in it. The happy owner will be my baby-neighbourgirl Leah!

I started her socks at April 16 and did finish them April 26.

° Also on April 26 I started a grey pair of children´s socks size 30-31 they are for 3/4 ready at April 30.

° Another pair of children´s socks size 28-29 was started April 27 and is at the same point ready as the grey children´s socks.

I hope to finish those children´s socks somewhere early May.
